Thirteen of us came to this event
A talk by Lady Antonia Fraser – My History: A Memoir of Growing Up
We had lunch in the Pavilion
and at 2.30 pm one by Rev Richard Coles – Fathomless Riches enlightened and amused us.
Lady Antonia Fraser
This best selling narrative historian now turns to her own early life, explaining the experiences that inspired her interest in exploring the past. From her days as an evacuee in a romantic Elizabethan manor house, and childhood adventures in a castle, she explores the settings for her historical imaginings. A magical memoir told, and discussed, with humour and style.
Rev Richard Coles
Ex Communards pop star, now a Church of England priest in Northamptonshire , journalist and BBC Radio 4 host. With gentle humour, Richard charts his journey from middle class childhood through rock ‘n’ roll to a life devoted to Christianity.
